WebJul 27, 2024 · We identified a split tear of peroneal brevis. Debridement of frayed tissue and tubularization were performed to repair the peroneal brevis. The tubularization is shown in Figure 7. Gliding of the peroneal tendon was evaluated. Lateral ligament complex repair was performed through standard curvilinear approach. ATFL and CFL were identified. WebTwo muscles, the peroneus brevis and the peroneus longus, attach to the lower fibula. Around the ankle, the muscles turn into tendons. The peroneus brevis tendon attaches to the little toe.
