Fj80 heater cable adjustment
WebJul 16, 2024 · May 7, 2024. #1. I initially just replaced the small (pesky) piece of hose on the block, but it leaked. It is a real pain trying to get the new little hose on the block and pipe, and secure the hose clamps, in such a tight space. The second time around, I decided to go with the bypass, and it was way easier. This time I didn't bruise my arms!

Check that it pulls out smoothly and returns back in smartly too. If you have overdrive then you have an extra gear before lockup so there should be 5 steps that you can count.
WebJun 1, 2010 · Check the heater valve on the firewall. There is a mechanism that moves the valve from flowing to not flowing. It probably just needs to be adjusted Problem solved. The valve was fine, but you pointed me in the right direction. I disconnected the control cable and manually opened it to full position just to be sure.
