And to follow the rules, more specifically Rule 2, The program is written entirely in python WebI would like to know the precision of a Geohash with a given length. If there is a 'simple' formula you can use to calculate it, that would be extra-cool. Wikipedia lists the precision up to 8 characters: # km 1 ±2500 2 ±630 3 ±78 4 ±20 5 ±2.4 6 ±0.61 7 ±0.076 8 ±0.019. length.
