I lock double (regular) nuts together on one end, put those in a vise, then turn the lock nut on the other end down to where I need it. They don't thread easily, that's the point, since they are lock nuts, but they are easy enough to turn with with a wrench with the double nutted end in a vise. WebSo this happened to me.
