WebOct 9, 2024 · The simplest data collection in Python is a list. A list is any list of data items, separated by commas, inside square brackets. Typically, you assign a name to the Python list using an = sign, just as you would with variables. If the list contains numbers, then don't use quotation marks around them. For example, here is a list of test scores: Websorted (list, key=len) Here, len is Python's in-built function to count the length of an element. The list is sorted based on the length of each element, from lowest count to highest. We know that a tuple is sorted using its first parameter by default.
