This auction tentatively awarded $9.2 billion to over 300 bidders to deploy high-speed broadband services to approximately 5.2 million unserved homes and businesses in 49 states. WebRDOF is the largest one-time award of funding for broadband in the FCC’s history and will award over $20 billion in two phases. Phase I will auction up to $16 billion in funding this year.
